Tracteur

2023

My research on tractors began as a game. A familiar object from my childhood, tractors accompanied me through many years of discovery and imagination. Through this project, I wanted to return to that intimate relationship, where drawing becomes an extension of memory and observation.

The project consists of a series of observational drawings of the tractor, based on reality. Each drawing explores a different approach: variations in style, line, and perspective, using pencil, charcoal, and pen on paper. This multiplicity of treatments allows me to question how the same object can be perceived, transformed, and reinterpreted according to gesture, time, and intention.

Between memory and observation, this work oscillates between a playful approach and a more analytical one. The tractor becomes at once a subject, a pretext, and a field for graphic experimentation, revealing the richness of forms, details, and narratives that an everyday object can contain.
