This site-specific work builds on this research by staging a dialogue between my body, the weight of water and the double bass played by my brother. Together, we explore our vulnerability in the face of society’s demands. In a quest for balance, the body attempts to regain control, whilst the water constantly eludes it. Through its fleeting trace, the water embodies the impossibility of mastering the living, the weight it bears, but also the path it opens up towards a form of freedom. The performance transforms this tension between resistance and surrender into a space where fragility becomes a force for transformation.
