This project features a series of human and hybrid figures created from household and natural plastic waste, which is recycled and then transformed into 3D-printed sculptures. Each figure emerges from a fragment of actual waste and becomes an autonomous entity, embodying a sculptural identity and a latent narrative. The faces, deliberately distorted, stretched, or fragmented, create ambiguous presences that straddle humanity and otherness.
The formal exploration draws on distortion, anamorphosis, and the interplay of depth, while light animates the sculptures through the play of shadows. The works evolve as the audience moves, establishing a dynamic dialogue between the object, the space, and the viewer.
By combining recycling, visual art, and narrative elements, the project offers a symbolic reappraisal of waste and questions our relationship to consumption, responsibility, and the persistence of matter. It is part of an artistic practice centered on the connections between the face, identity, and transformation, where light, space, and immersive experience play an essential role.
